Reflection after Robbie Williams concert: technology, hospitality and the beauty of being human.

Yesterday I attended the Robbie Williams concert in Barcelona and I took away more than just music. The show opened with screens projecting messages generated by artificial intelligence. artificial intelligence. Even a "resurrected" Elvis appeared saying that he would have liked to have been alive to see Robbie he would have liked to be alive to see Robbie live.. A detail that made me think: the AI can create magic, but it doesn't replace the human connection.

In my job as a hostess in tourist accommodations, I dream of having an AI assistant who can accompany each guest 24/7: solve doubts, give recommendations, streamline their experience. Flexibility, immediacy, convenience. Everything that technology facilitates.

But this concert reminded me why I love to personally welcome my guests: to listen to them, to understand their needs, to share a genuine conversation. Technology helps, but human closeness creates bonds.

I think the challenge is to combine combining innovation and warmthjust as Robbie argues that the live show has an irreplaceable value. AI is a great ally, but being human and being present, even if sometimes behind a cell phone, is still our biggest differential.
