A very good option is to purchase the Hola Barcelona Travel Card, a single-person card that allows you to use as many times as you want the Metro (TMB), bus (TMB), train (FGC, zone 1), Montjuïc funicular, streetcar (TRAM) and commuter trains Rodalies de Catalunya (zone 1).
With options for 2, 3, 4 and 5 days including unlimited travel on public transport throughout the metropolitan network and round trips to and from the airport (cost from 15€ to 35€ with online purchase).
